Assistant Cook/Trails Coordinator

Dates: Early June to Mid-August; see application for this year’s dates

Pay: $235-$245/week

 

The assistant cook and trails coordinator must be…

• Emotionally and spiritually prepared for hard work in the service of others

• Willing to engage in the life of faith with the camp community

• Experienced in food prep and following recipes (preferred)

• Self-motivated and good at following directions

• Excited to offer hospitality, welcome, and good food to campers and guests

• Over 18 years of age, or having completed high school

Responsibilities include…

• Prepare and serve meals according to schedule worked out with head cook

• Assist the head cook with meal prep

• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and order in the kitchen and dining hall

• Assist trails coordinator with packout and gear tasks
