Driver/Maintenance

Dates: Mid-June to Mid-August

Pay: $10-$12/hour

32 hours/week

 

Driver/Maintenance People must be…

• Responsible and self motivated; able to work without direct supervision

• Able to sustain prolonged physical activity (i.e. lawn care)

• Safety-minded

• Flexible, polite, and friendly

• comfortable around children and adults from a variety of backgrounds

• Over 21 years old, with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

 

Tasks Include…

• Driving the camp vehicles up to 3 hours one way for camper transport

• Managing general vehicle safety, maintenance, and cleanliness

• Follow all Camp Amnicon safety procedures, vehicle operating procedures and all state and federal traffic laws.

• Perform regular safety checks on all vehicles in accordance with Camp Amnicon’s vehicle operating procedures.

• Carry out site and grounds maintenance and repairs as needed and as directed, including but not limited to

         Mowing, trimming and yard work

         Clearing trails

         Maintaining canoes

         Repairing window screens

         Building maintenance

         General troubleshooting

• Run camp errands as assigned

• Assist with other tasks as assigned by the camp director
