Northland Scenic River Canoe Trip

Is that a beaver or an otter swimming in front of our canoe? This unique encounter is one of the many opportunities you will have to observe the variety of abundant wildlife as you paddle one of Wisconsin’s most scenic waterways. The Namekagon/St. Croix river trip offers you the perfect opportunity to develop your canoeing and camping skills while exploring historic Ojibwe and early European settlement sites along the way. Shorelines are wild and beautiful, varying from high, steep banks to wetlands and wild rice beds. At your campsite you will cook over a campfire, sleep on a bed of pine needles, and rise to the call of the songbird’s reveille. Come and be a guest with us in nature’s bed and breakfast!
