Trails Coordinator

Dates: Early June to Mid-August; see application for this year’s dates

Pay: $250-$260/week

 

The trails coordinator must be…

• Emotionally and spiritually prepared for hard work in the service of others

• Organized and self-motivated; able to work without direct supervision or daily direction

• Willing to engage in the life of faith with the camp community

• Flexible and skilled at problem-solving

• Over 19 years of age, or having completed one year of college

Responsibilities include…

• Prepare trip menus and food orders

• Pack out food and equipment for the trips, put food and gear away after trips, and supervise others helping with these tasks

• Keep trail food and equipment inventory updated

• Repair trails equipment as possible, and keep trails room and pack-out neat and organized.

• Work as a leader with hivernauts and asst. trails coordinator in trails activities

• Participate in programmatic elements (i.e. campfire) as needed

• Flexibly assist with other in-camp duties as needed and as time allows
